| FOR OUR CLIENTS who are to far away to visit! We want you to know a little about us.......... Karen has been an animal lover since she could walk. Her Grandfather was a cattle rancher and summers included her working the cattle and helping the vet. She started taking riding lessons at the age of 5, and horses were a huge part of her life. Showing hunter/jumpers was her hobby in high school and college. Karen worked at Animal Rescue, working with injured and abandoned wildlife. Baby possums, birds, and even skunks have been successfully raised under her care. She ran a horse ranch with over 50 head of Arabian Horses, managed the facility including 6 employees. With a background in animal health from Cal Poly University she led the team doing Artificial insemination, foaling, and routine vet care. She has raised Chameleons, most types of birds including everything from Gouldian Finches to many species of the nectar eating Lories from Australia, Persian cats, Schipperke dogs, Whippets, Jack Russell Terries, and Mini Dachshunds. She has currently chosen to focus in on her biggest love, BENGAL CATS. Our goal is to produce top of the line kittens, and provide professional care and knowledge to our clientele. BishopsBengals kittens are raised with love and tender care. We only feed the best foods available. Health and disposition are of utmost importance. Our small and select group of breeding cats rival any in the world. |

domestic cat with the Asian Leopard Cat. The goal was to produce a mild natured
domestic cat with the "look" of a true wild cat. The Bengal cat is
a result of

Karens Bengals is a small selective cattery.
We are located in the beautiful coastal area of Central California, halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. We have carefully selected our cats from the top bloodlines available. Bengals are athletic, active cats that are beautiful to look at and so very pleasant to touch! They have a "pelt" type coat that is unique to the breed. It is incredible to touch and feels very dense and soft. Some Bengals have a "glittered" coat, which is a shimmering iridescent gold on the tips of the hair that is visible in bright light. |

Bengals are charming and inquisitive, and love to play.
The Asian Leopard cat is a 10 pound tree dwelling cat. The Bengal cat is about the same size (males are generally larger) and LOVE to climb! They enjoy shelves, cat trees/furniture. They also will chase balls, carry around socks, furry mice and underwear! This is so very cute, most of the time! We ship anywhere in the United States and have not had any problems doing so. Shipping is paid for by the buyer and prices fluctuate, but generally run about $180. We have a crate charge of $40, the crate is an essential item that can be used for years. All kittens have a health check before they leave and also have had their vaccinations. |
